SFXC glitter is created from clear polyester film before being treated and metallised. Then it is machine cut, using highly precise equipment. Glitter refracts and scatters light to create a dazzling, magical rainbow effect.

Our glitter ranges in shape from hexagonal shapes to shards, circles and stars! Particle sizes vary from 0.2-3mm.

We also stock Holographics glitters and pigments. Holographic glitter is made by embossing a pattern onto the film, so light is displayed in various directions, resulting in spectacle of glimmering colours.

As for where and how you can use glitter…
Use it everywhere and for anything. Terrific for fun craft and art applications, sprinkle it on your clothes, your shoes, it’s great for décor, interiors, greeting cards and events: festivals, weddings, parties, Christmas. You may be surprised to learn that glitter is used on fishing lures (to resemble fish scales) and even in helping to solve crime scenes due to its static, clinging properties.

When applying glitter to a surface, use clear glues, resins, varnishes and adhesives to preserve its shine. For screen printing, our Glitter Binder is the perfect partner! Remember to use a topcoat with this product too, so what you apply remains on the material you’re working with!
