SFXC® Photochromic film is sensitive to UV and changes colour in the sun.

The colour changing effect is reversible and takes only 2-3 seconds to change to its colour under UV and 10-15 to reverse back to its original state.

This product is perfect for design, education and UV awareness. This sheet can be applied over the top of printed items, giving the printed item a special photochromic effect.

This magical adhesive film appears to be translucent inside and colourful outside. 

The photochromic film also reacts very well to backlighting and UV lighting.

The permanent adhesive we have applied to the back of our sheets allows the user to apply a photochromic covering to most substrates.

Please do not expose the film to prolonged levels of UV.  Like all photochromic products; leaving the coating in direct sunlight for over 4 hours can damage the reversible photochromic properties. The purple photochromic film is extremely sensitive to UV and deteriorates after just 4 hours of moderate UV exposure. The red and cyan film is a lot stronger and starts to deteriorate after just 48 hours.
